American Green Agriculture is dedicated to establishing parity between commercial and organic farming. We will supply to the American farmer, gardener and lawn care giver 100% unadulterated Humates. We believe our humates will narrow the price gap between organic and non-organic foods so families do not have to make a healthy choice based upon cost.

Our product comes directly from freshwater-created humates mines in Cuba, NM. The mining operation is surface mining. The humates of New Mexico are embedded just below a thin crusted filtrating limestone layer. The operation disturbs no forestation or plant life and is similar to surface salt operations performed throughout the world.

We supply only 100% humates. We believe there is no value added by extracting humic and fulvic acid from humates. The process commonly used to extract these acids leave unwanted by-products. In many cases lye (similar to Drano) is used as a base in the extracting process. This lye residue then has to be disposed of as a contaminate. You will see many commercial fertilizer labels that list humic acid as an additive. These humic acids are mostly derived from the above mentioned method.

It is our opinion that humates should be used in their entirety as nature has left them, thus incorporating all their trace elements and subtle properties.
